Bangalore, India – Feb 17 2004–Jataayu Software, a wireless terminal solution provider for device makers, reference design vendors and OS providers, today announced that it has licensed to Sierra Wireless the Jataayu Multimedia Messaging Client -jMMS Client for the new Voqä Professional Phone. This combination will enable users to experience a wide range of next-generation messaging services, which include exchanging Digital images, animated graphics and music files.
The Voq Professional Phone is based on the Microsoft Windows Mobileä software for Smartphones and features a unique flip-open QWERTY thumbpad, and easy-to-use software solutions for business users including secure, serverless, always-there e-mail. Jataayu’s jMMS client technology complements the new Voq phone with a feature-rich Multi Media experience. Jataayu’s MMS client technology is known for its interoperability with different MMSCs as well as carrier network standards.

Voq Professional Phone is planned for commercial availability during the first half of 2004.
