mnUSSD Centre is a certified and production-run network solution that enables a high-speed dialogue between subscribers and operator’s services. According to the certificate issued by the Ministry for Telecommunication of Russia, the system’s performance (in UNIX-based configuration) can be expanded up to 3600 transactions per second. Using the USSD benefits, Kyivstar has managed to reduce the load on the network’s voice resources. For 3 million subscribers, automatic information is now provided and balance re-fill cards (scratch cards) are activated via USSD-channel. The released resources can be used for new commercial services.
The solution easily integrates with the network infrastructure, interacts with existing services over SMPP 3.4 protocol, also uses SNMP protocol for configuring and monitoring. mnUSSD generates CDR files, making it possible to do the service based billing.
